With effect from June 2018 we now undertake a limited range of other computer support. These include:
Fault diagnosis or help via remote access – using appropriate software with your permission we can use the internet to access and take control of your system.
This requires you to download and install a small software package – we will advise you on how to do this either by phone or email.
Once installed you advise us of a username and a password – which for security purposes changes each time the remote access software is used – usually by phone. We then take control of your system with you watching and review and try to resolve the issues you have highlighted!
Obviously to use this method to help you the requirements are that the system boots and is not subject to freezing and can access a working internet connection.
To protect the environment we will still dispose of your inkjet and toner cartridges and dispose of your old IT equipment:
